Chris Aaron Legacy

  • What does this moment mean to you personally, to have come where you come from to this very moment in time?

Recognition is huge for me because being a person like myself I operate in the shadows of great people and moments in pop culture. I’ve been apart of some of the biggest moments in the industry you might have never knew I was apart of. I love the recognition only for the fact of my loved ones having something to be proud of because coming from where I’m from in Springfield Ohio these opportunities sometimes never come.

  • How does your current working relationships reflect where you are in life right now compared to your past work?

That’s interesting cause I suffer from imposter syndrome so where I’m at in my working reality vs. where I think I’m at are two different things. Right now between our tv show Wiggin Out with Tokyo Stylez on WeTV and working with Cardi B, Doja Cat, Lizzo, Kelly Rowland, Nicki Minaj, Kylie Jenner and many more I’m on top of the world. In my head my reality is quite different and I feel I’m still on the bottom working my way to the top just like everyone else that just got into the industry.

  • You’ve worn many hats in your career— How do you balance those roles while staying true to yourself?

Working as an Agent for beauty influencers that have the biggest brand deals and celebrity clients in the world I think my balance comes from staying close to my family. I currently live in Orlando Florida moving from Los Angeles where I can slow down the pace of my life and get to know myself better. Fortunately I’m still incredibly busy and travel a lot I still make time for the people that love me and they make it their job to support and protect me.

  • Looking ahead, what legacy do you want to leave—not just in entertainment, but as a voice for authenticity and representation?

I want my legacy to be like that of the greats like Clarence Avant where I was the one that put people in rooms to create some of the most beautiful moments in pop culture history. I want to be a man of my word.

  • What advice would you give to 18 year old Chris Aaron?

The advice I would give my younger self would be stop thinking the world is against you and that everything is hard. Everything that happens in life is meant to teach you something so take the time to learn the lesson cause the universe will test you til the day you die. Get up and take what is yours cause nobody will give it to you.
